A new stretch of footpath
is being created from the Station Road pedestrian crossing. |
A new
two-pitch pétanque (boules)
terrain will be created alongside Commercial Road, behind the
telephone box; the footpath here will be straightened to create
the space needed. |
In other
areas work continues to break up worn out tarmac in preparation
for new surfaces. |

Currently the path surfacing and broken edgings are
being removed and the fountain is being dismantled.
Fencing restricts pedestrian access and protects the trees from
damage by the works. |
