Funding

The vast majority of leisure & play projects in Poole are funded from two main sources:

• Planning Obligations which are generated through the planning department.

• Playbuilder funding (2009-2011) from the government Department for Children, Schools and Families which links into the first ever national Play Strategy for England.  £1.1 million was awarded to Poole in 2008 for improved provision of play for 8-13 yr olds.  Playbuilder pages open in a new window.
