  • OFFICIALLY OPENED by the Mayor of Poole, Councillor Charles Meachin, on Friday 16th April 2010

The range of new play equipment offers challenging play and excitement for all ages; it includes climbing equipment, role play and swings for toddlers, a raft springer and the ever popular buddy swing and zip wire!  Work started on site on 1st February 2010 and was completed on 1st April, just in time for the Easter school holidays.  Three weeks later a three-a-side ball court with basketball hoops added to the park improvements.

The new play area proposed is just one element of a wider project to increase local people's use and enjoyment of the park [more...].
