The original
design for play (800kb)
- but for safety reasons we have
been unable to
deliver the bespoke timber & rope bridge item
Play design
were drawn up by Landscape Architect Helen
Middleton-Stewart based around the wishes expressed by young people
and play area users during the consultation. They have included
some dramatic remodelling of the area and use of the lower grassed
are for play equipment leading to improvements for all ages.
Equipment
suitable for younger children remains on the upper level; for
older children we have installed some exciting new play experiences at the lower grassed level.
The original play proposals included a bespoke timber platform &
rope bridge, but we regret that there were issues with its design
and to save further delays the decision has been made to remove it
from the project. We apologise for any disappointment.
